Luckybug Studios is a Toronto-based production company led by filmmaker Pierre Kochel. With ten years’ experience as a director, producer, writer, and editor, Pierre brings a thoughtful, hands-on, and versatile approach to every project from concept to completion. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Toronto, where he majored in Cinema Studies and History. In 2023, Pierre’s debut animated short film, Is It the Big One?, premiered at the 49th Seattle International Film Festival.
Luckybug Studios collaborates frequently with organizations including the Toronto Holocaust Museum and Facing History & Ourselves to create impactful documentary and educational content. Our work reflects a strong interest in telling clear, emotionally resonant stories in visually dynamic ways.
